GENERAL BIRTHDAY PARTY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

• How do I schedule a BUSY BODIES Planned Play birthday party?
• It's easy! Just give us a call and we'd be happy to reserve your special day and time!

• Is a deposit required?
• A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due and payable on the day of your party.

• How many guests can I invite?
• You may invite up to 14 guests including the birthday child.

• What if I have more than 14 guests?
• Additional guests are welcome! There is a $5.00 charge per additional guest over the party package limit. A maximum of 16 children please.

• Is there an additional charge for siblings, parents or caregivers?
• There is no additional charge for parents or caregivers. If the total guest count exceeds 14, there is a $5.00 per child charge.

• What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
• We ask that you and your guests arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled party time.

• Do I need to stay at the party?
• The party host is required to stay at the party, however, there is plenty of supervision if parents wish to drop their child off.

• Is each guest, including adults, required to have a completed/signed waiver?
• For insurance purposes, all guests must have a waiver completed and signed by a parent/guardian. For your convenience, family members aged 17 years or younger may be included on the same waiver. Additional waivers are available on our website at www.busybodiesplannedplay.com.

• Are socks required?
• Children need to be barefoot and all adults MUST wear socks.

• Can I bring in my own drinks?
• As part of the party package, we provide juice boxes for each child present. We recommend that you bring a cooler of water bottles for your adult guests and one for each child, as they get thirsty during the studio portion of the party. No other beverages are allowed.

• What food items can I bring to the party?
• Birthday cake or cupcakes (pizza for two hour parties only). No other food items are permitted at BUSY BODIES.

• Can I spend more than the designated time in the party room?
• Please let us know if you’d like more time in the party room, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that the Bestest Birthday Party cannot exceed 2 hours and the Best Birthday Party cannot exceed 11⁄2 hours.
  
• Can we start the party in the party room?
• Because we’ve found that full tummies and jumping, dancing and rolling don’t mix, our parties begin in the Studio area.

• Once in the party room, can guests re-enter the Studio?
• We’re sorry, but guests may not re-enter the Studio.

• Will there be a BUSY BODIES staff member available to assist me in the party room?
• Yes - a staff member will be available to assist you in the party room.

• Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
• You’re welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party room, we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, confetti, or piñatas.

• Do you provide party room set up and clean up?
• Absolutely! We will set up the party room just the way you want it and clean up afterwards.

• Are gratuities (tips) appropriate?
• Gratuities for our staff are always welcome.

• Can I bring my own balloons?
• We provide 1 balloon for each child in the party package, however, if you’d like to bring extra balloons, we’d be happy to inflate your balloons for $0.50 each.

• Are there any additional items I need to bring to the party?
• If you will be bringing a cake, please bring a serving knife, candles, and a lighter (no matches please). For your convenience we also have candles, cameras and socks available for purchase.
